About the Job
The Channel Financial Analyst Intern will be an integral part of GSSM Finance team in helping understand the Channel revenue trends by Geography/BU/Customer and assisting provide the Executive Team in monthly/quarterly reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Create a Channel revenue dashboard by Geo and by BU that highlights trends in revenue in terms of sequential and year over year growth as well as channel mix compared to total by Geo
- Prepare a view with the quarterly trends evaluating the top partners (growth and decline) by Geo and by BU
- Improve tracking and reporting of revenue shift on direct vs. indirect and vice versa
- Work on cross functional projects to gather the inputs and optimize standardized cross-geo reporting, analyze data for patterns that indicate problems to be addressed or opportunities to investigate
- Support in generating business presentations for Senior Financial Management
- Exhibit superior verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management and key business partner
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and provide analytical support as needed
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Currently working towards a BS/MS degree
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- 2 years of experience with Data Modeling
