About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated, technically savvy Program Manager to help provide support on a variety of activities within the Carrier Engagement and Strategy Group. Amongst other activities, this person will be responsible for program management of complex multi-facetted deals involving top 50 global carriers; that include revenue elements of sell to the carrier; sell-through the carrier as well as gaining long term sustainable access to the carriers end-users.
About the Team
The role will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development, and work cross functionally with the various sales, network and product teams as well as the carrier.
Responsibilities:
* Developing a framework for management of CESG programs.
* Ensuring consistency across projects and ensuring that best practices are followed.
* Develop processes and protocols for Akamai's different functional units to engage with the CESG team.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a project manager/program manager in a technical organization.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the high-tech industry.
Desired Qualifications
*Experience and a desire to progress within a global services organization.
*Knowledge of best practices within the professional services industry.
*A proven track record of working cross-functionally to coordinate projects.
*Strong interpersonal and written skills.
