About the Job
As a Program Manager in InfoSec’s Customer Compliance team, you will have the opportunity to learn detailed technical information concerning the safety of Akamai’s platform and distill it into the forms required by our customers and sales teams, satisfying both their compliance needs and security questions. You will also work with third-party vendors, customers, and auditors to prepare audits, facilitate audits, and shepherd issues to resolution. You will coordinate small groups for short-term projects, generally lasting a few days to a few months. You will also handle daily operational items, like tracking the emergence and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
About the Team
Akamai's InfoSec Team is responsible for safeguarding the security of the business, from corporate information security through protection of the production systems on the Internet. We engage with every organization at Akamai to support ongoing projects, design security solutions, investigate security incidents, conduct compliance audits, and manage day-to-day tasks like oversight of vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:

* Work with Sales to support security questions, building and developing our knowledgebase, through Vendor Diligence Questionnaires, calls, emails, and hosting on-site assessments.
* Assist in running the annual FedRAMP assessments, including organization, preparation and basic technical remediation. This can involve scheduling and leading interviews with inside and outside parties, meeting with assessors, as well as document preparation and review.
* Become proficient in additional standards as needed, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27002, and SSAE-16.
* Gather and analyze audit findings and evaluate items of note. This may include document review, interviews of experts, and technical reproduction.
* Document processes and procedures, and work with various groups at Akamai (e.g. Engineering, Corporate functions, etc.) to have them documented.
* Perform daily and weekly operational work tracking and following up on authenticator rotations, vulnerability management, documentation updates, and presenting the security section of weekly New Hire Orientation sessions.
* Continually improve our processes and services.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years relevant experience required.
* Minimum of 3 years experience with various computer operating systems (such as: Windows, MacOS, or UNIX).
* 2+ years of experience with creating customer/public documentation
* 2+ years in a customer/public-facing role
* A solid understanding of Internet technologies and fundamental protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
* Experience with FedRAMP, SSAE-16, ISO 27002, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or other information security standards.
* A desire to work with customers and sales to support our Security business
* Excellent technical aptitude and a desire to learn constantly

* Strong organizational skills – you will have a good deal of independence.
* Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal – you will be called on to write procedures and explanations others can follow easily.
* Ability to deal with multiple tasks with a focus on documentation, controls, and deadlines.
* Ability to organize groups of 2-6 people in multiple areas across the company.
* Experience presenting to groups.
* Understanding of information security principles.
