About the Job

Akamai Technologies seeks a bright and dedicated Sr. Compensation Analyst with a sharp interest in applying their compensation knowledge in a fast-paced high-tech environment. The incumbent will focus on developing and delivering compensation policies and programs, including base pay programs, and short- and long-term incentive programs.

About the Team

The position will report to the Director of Compensation and work with a cross-functional team including HR business partners and organizational leaders.

Responsibilities:
- Drive and ensure the success of Akamai’s compensation planning programs (merit increases, annual bonus and equity).
- Manage participation in key compensation surveys. Lead annual market analysis and make recommendations to support salary ranges and annual budget requests.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to HR business partners on compensation related issues.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and planning to continuously improve our compensation programs and processes.
- Deliver training to the business line on compensation programs as necessary.
- Participate in compensation projects and initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in business administration or another field that uses quantitative analysis.
- 8+ years of relevant compensation experience.
- 5+ years working with Microsoft Excel and HR systems.

Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in analyzing data and able to synthesize large data sets to form recommendations.
- Able to work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, manage details and deliver results in an environment with competing demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees with a positive attitude of customer service.
- Experience working with Oracle HRMS is a plus.
