About the Job
Reporting to the Treasurer, this individual will be responsible for the strategic leadership, innovation, governance, and overall management of Corporate Treasury Function. Such as, design and implement global cash management programs. Analyze, improve, and execute FX hedging programs. Evaluate and recommend cash investment strategies based on the company’s liquidity needs. Monitor and drive field compliance with all type of financial policies and procedures. Assist the Treasurer with capital markets initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all daily cash management activities and inquires.
* Oversee banking structure and fraud protection.
* Develop and implement innovative and forward thinking cash management structure and strategies.
* Evaluate company’s investment strategies and liquidity needs and make appropriate recommendations.
* Direct, improve, and execute the global FX hedging program.
* Develop & maintain banking relationships, and negotiate banking fees.
* In conjunction with the Treasurer, work on capital markets pricing, terms, and available capital structures.
* Assist with M&A modeling capabilities for determining returns and providing advice on financial structures.
* Prepare monthly cash flow forecasting reports.
* Prepare the treasury related items/footnotes for SEC (10Q and 10K) reporting purposes.
* Update monthly/quarterly treasury reports/dashboards for the Treasurer, CFO, and Audit Committee.
* Develop and implement internal control policies, guidelines and procedures for all treasury activities.
* Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for all treasury policies and procedures.
* Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
* Assist with special projects as needed.
* Develop capabilities and competencies for future staff members.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* 12+ years of progressive Finance experience.
* 5+ years of experience in Treasury at a global company.
* 2+ years of experience in FX hedging/ FAS 133 hedge accounting.
Desired Qualifications
* MBA/MS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
* Possess a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and financial statements.
* A general knowledge of tax principles including taxation of investment income and U.S. taxation of foreign operations is important.
* Strong understanding of shareholder value principles.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify and treat financial market risk.
* Ability to build and maintain positive banking relationships.
* Ability to present complex, critical information to senior executives.
* Ability to create and communicate department vision and strategy.
* Intellectually curious. Interested in learning all aspects of the Company and the Industry.
* Able to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
* Computer/System skills – Bloomberg, Misys, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
* Experience with Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
